About Dr. Aragon

Dr. Aragon serves the community with great research work and expertise in Family Building: Over 20 years of experience in Academic Teaching, Educational Counseling, Family Counseling, and mediating Child Custody Evaluations that create life-long equitable parenting. This specialty involves family building with parents/children/schools, and extended family members.

 

Mrs. Aragon's specialties include Anxiety, Depression, Family Communication, Identity, Self-Esteem, and recreating marital closeness and sexual re-integration. Mrs. Aragon focuses on building individuality, family growth, communication, and family unity.

Therapy includes advocacy and techniques that involve holistic Body, Mind, and Spirit concepts that include the bio-psycho-social-cultural and spiritual approach. Each approach encourages clients to adjust learned belief systems and behavioral patterns.

Dr. Stephanie Hanks

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

Dr. Hanks earned a Bachelor of Art majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family studies from the University of New Mexico in 2007. She earned her Master of Science in Human Services specializing in Counseling Studies from Capella University in 2011. Dr. Hanks went to obtain her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University in 2021. She completed her internship working at an acute psychiatric hospital in San Diego, California. Dr. Hanks has worked in several mental health settings in New Mexico, California, and Texas among diverse populations with various mental health issues.

 

She recently completed a two-year post doc fellowship within a private practice setting at Stuart Nathan and Associates in Houston, Texas. She specializes in bariatric evaluations, pain management evaluations, fertility evaluations, and psychological assessments. Furthermore, Dr. Hanks has extensive history working with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and individuals in psychotherapy. She also specializes in drug and alcohol treatment in group and individual therapy settings. Dr. Hanks works from a humanistic perspective using multifaceted, interdisciplinary approaches in psychology. She strives to evaluate the individual as a whole. To help maximize their well-being and recognize the uniqueness of each individual and their life experiences.
